and we setsin' it on fire
steven and cassie welcomed new little baby girl into the world yesterday.
we, tyler, staci and I, drove to the hospital to see and smile and laugh.
we drove home and it was late.
i have a frosty.
tyler swerved big time in dan's new car and i looked up.
tyler swerved again and we hear a bad sound as we drive over what looks like ginormous sized shrapnel.
we pull over along with 7 other cars.
1st police officer inspects our damage and says that someone lost a bed frame. sweet.
he takes off to look for suspects.
2nd police officer comes to see if the damage is over $1500 so we can report it in idaho. it's not so he drives away and we decide to "limp home" (tyler's words) at 40 mph on the freeway.
semi decides to cut it a little too close so we pull off and drive home on the shoulder. only 3 more miles until the exit.
3rd police officer pulls us over.
Tyler turns on interior lights, rolls down all the windows and puts both hands on the wheel. WAY too familiar with "what you're supposed to do. the drill."
officer comes up, "everything okay? thought you were on fire or something."
staci and i stifle our laughter until he leaves the vehicle... YES WE ARE ON FIRE, THAT IS WHY WE ARE ALL SITTING CALMLY IN THE VEHICLE, WINDOWS DOWN, DRIVING 40 MPH ON THE FREEWAY!
huh-larious as Tyler would say.
big dent in dan's new rims.... under $1500 in damage.
new little baby, abigail m, - sweet as an angel.
