What makes me happy?

This.

I love that Dexter can read now and that he is willing to read to the other kids. I admit that part of this gratification comes from occasional laziness on my part ("Um, not right now, I'm busy... Go ask Dexter to read it to you!") But also I love these rare moments when my children are sitting in close proximity to each other and NO ONE is CRYING!

I love that he also put this book "on hold" at the Library.

My children make me happy.

Dexter is such a good big bro. And you got such an awesome picture Randi. You could seriously sell your family photos to stock photography sites. I'm not joking. Chris and I are on them all the time for work and your kids are way cuter than any of the "fake" kids they have. You could go pro dude.

The worst part of parenting? Siblings fighting.

The best part of parenting?
Siblings loving each other.

Oh, I know what you mean. I'm so grateful for the peaceful quiet moments when Jackson and Laila aren't trying to hit each other while I'm not looking.
